The Team

Leendert de Voogd

Leendert de VOOGD is the co-founder of The Assets Agency and is responsible for leading the evaluation and valuation of assets that our clients wish to leverage. He also advises them when it comes to acquire new artworks or sell existing assets.

Leendert has been surrounded by art all his life. Being the son of a long-time gallery owner and with two painters in his family, Leendert has a real passion for art and artists. His extensive knowledge of the modern art era makes him a partner of choice to define optimal art-based lending strategies.

Leendert graduated in Political Sciences from the UCL (Belgium) and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris | Sciences Po (France). He is also certified by the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in Art & Finance.

Éric BONAFINI

Eric BONAFINI is the co-founder of The Assets Agency and leads our asset management consulting services. Eric Bonafini is an international expert in financial structuring and assets management, with a focus on alternative assets.

His journey with Fine Art began in Luxembourg, where he honed his specialization, and continued in Zurich, where he excelled in structuring prestigious and intricate assets to enhance their value.

Today, he leads his own Family Office, facilitating connections among investors, collectors, and financial institutions.

With a strong educational background including a master’s degree in political science and another in economics and management from UCL, Eric Bonafini is not only a speaker but also a trusted consultant for institutions, playing a pivotal role in the financial management of various collections. ‎

LAURENT-PAUL ALTERESCO

Laurent Paul Alteresco is a partner of The Assets Agency as an Investment Advisor, helping our international clients make strategic and/or opportunistic investments in the Art and Prestige property sectors.

Laurent Paul has been immersed in the art world since childhood, coming from a family of artists, musicians and collectors of Russian, Romanian and French origin. Laurent Paul has a real passion for the 17th and 18th centuries in France, and has been collecting art, luxury cars and furnishings for over 30 years.

In addition to his international oil industry career, Laurent Paul has developed expertise in the field of prestige real estate by creating and managing carefuly selected networks of professionals to offer the best investment opportunities to our clients.

Laurent Paul is a graduate of the European Business Institute and has obtained numerous certifications in the oil and real estate sectors.

Laurent AUZERIC

Laurent AUZERIC stands out as an Expert in Old Masters Paintings, boasting an exceptional portfolio that showcases Masterpieces from the 15th to the 18th centuries.

His tenure as the former General Secretary of the « Chambre Européenne des Experts Conseils en Œuvres d’Art » and his role as an Art Heritage Strategy Specialist illuminate his profound understanding of art’s value and legacy.

As the author of the reference book « Art & Patrimoine », Laurent offers a scholarly depth to the group’s expertise.
